Chain block or protector - equivalent Yamaha part number: 4RR-22199-00-00

Imported from the US especially for Totally TTRs. Poured from a proprietary urethane formulation and offer the ultimate in abrasion resistance for the longest possible wear. Yamaha UK ask over £35 for the original part.

Chain block or protector for older OEs - Yamaha part number: 3JD-22147-00

Hand made especially for Totally TTRs. Made from Bakelite and is probably stronger and will last longer than original part for which Yamaha UK ask over £37.
The nylon protectors advertised on eBay are much softer and cheaper to produce but won't last as long as these little gems!

Exhaust gasket - fits all standard silencers

This is the graphite-type gasket that goes between the header pipe and the exhaust. It is a good match for the original at a much cheaper price!

TTR250 tail tidy - a compact number plate holder replacement

I have difficulties in getting good pics of shiny bling so sprayed one of our new tail tidies in black so that the pics (3,4 and 5) are clearer

We are asked regularly by owners for a more compact number plate holder to replace either a broken one or just to be able to put away the original safely so as not to get it damaged on the lanes in the event of a fall.

Having broken my own unit in a get off recently, it prompted me to sketch out a design for a local engineer who has laser cut them from 2mm stainless steel and bent them to shape so that they exactly fit the three sub-frame tabs that locate the original unit. There are also locating holes for the original light unit and the pics 4 and 5 show a light unit fitted to the tail tidy.

If your light unit is damaged then an

optional extra would be an LED tail light

such as this tidy little unit.

It will need its cables extending or splicing into your old tail light wiring.

Bar risers - will fit all TTR250 models including the Raid.

The kit includes the spacers needed to give a choice of 3 heights with appropriate longer sets of four stainless steel bolts. Five minute install. No changes necessary in cables, etc. The kit fit into the original bar mounts and allow you to raise the bars in increments of 5mm from 15mm up to 35mm.

Raising your handlebars by even a small amount will make your bike more comfortable. If you feel awkward when standing, like you may fall forward if you touch the brakes, or if you feel like you are constantly leaning forward on the bars when riding straight and level, raising the handlebar height will make all the difference. The bike feels more controllable, standing or sitting.

The kit includes the two spacers as shown. Five minute install. No changes necessary in cables, etc.

The kit fit into the original bar mounts and also allows you to drop the fork legs up through the yokes by a further 6mm if you are trying to lower the front as shown on my own TTR in this picture.

Protect your rear brake disc with this heavy duty plastic guard which I believe was offered as an optional extra by Yamaha on new TTRs. Quite rare as I can't recall seeing one advertised before.

8mm thread Exhaust Studs 

The TTR studs are very exposed and prone to rusting solid resulting in them breaking or the thread stripping when removing their nuts.

These 40mm long studs are the best replacements I have been able to find for the originals.
